If you head 2 hours northeast out of Calgary, the world gets very flat. Prairie flat. But then you make a turn, go into a valley and suddenly you are surrounded by desert dunes. This is Drumheller. Situated in the desert badlands of Alberta, there are fibreglass dinosaurs of all colours on every corner.
Drumheller's biggest attraction is the Royal Tyrrell Museum – all things dinosaur!
I sat under this T-Rex to get a sketch. It is part real bones and part cast. Very impressive!
