Morning sketchcrawling

Chapelle Notre-dame-de-Lourdes
Today was the 39th worldwide sketchcrawl. Here in Montreal we met at UQAM (Université de Québec à Montréal) in one of the art pavilions. From one of the windows I sketched the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes chapel, which sports a quite overly brillant statue.

What you don't see are all the trees between me and the chapel. I had to do quite a lot of fill-in-the-blanks with this one.

Can't say I was really motivated to sketch this Saturday morning. And listening to a student while I sketch have a heated phone conversation with her study partner who failed to show did not help my motivation. I decided not to fight things and called it a day after this sketch.
