IF: Prepare

File pile (before)
The file pile before.

File pile (after)
And the file pile after.

Always at the beginning of the year I prepare my paperwork (which I should have been doing all along). Not my favourite activity, but at least it gave me an opportunity to sketch. And it does feel good once done.

  1. I love these sketches and they're providing some much needed inspiration - my files still look like your "before" picture!
Do you use pen and watercolour or two colours of pen?

  2. Thanks Emma!

These ones were done using a basic black pen and the highlights using a Faber-Castell Pitt pen (wamr grey III).

I love the Pitt pens when working in my sketchbook - they don't bleed through!

  5. Omigosh I can't look. Reminds me how badly I need to organize. These are nice. I like the effect of the grey pen.

  7. Perfect solution to "prepare"! You did a really nice job on these drawings... it is tedious to draw so much paper! Good luck with everything!
